Description
1908 Half Dollar, Toned PR68
Among the Finest Certified
1908 50C PR68 NGC. From a limited mintage of only 545
pieces, this proof 1908 half dollar is one of only a handful of
coins surviving in the PR68 grade level. There is a touch of
softness on the upper-right corner of the shield, but the design
elements are otherwise sharply impressed. Deep shades of
forest-green, olive, blue, and lavender-gold encompass each side,
preventing a Cameo designation. Census: 4 in 68, 0 finer
