Description

1913 50C MS62 NGC. The 1913 gains in stature seemingly every year since no great influx of Mint State coins has entered the market over the past decade. Lustrous and frosty, this silver-gray example shows deeper accents around the raised devices and only a few tiny marks. The strike is sharp on the obverse but characteristically weaker at the shield junction and at the eagle's lower extremities. Census: 12 in 62, 35 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N1793)
