First Year With Motto Issue

1908 $10 Motto MS64 PCGS. The IN GOD WE TRUST motto was left off the initial Saint-Gaudens design for the Indian eagles, but was restored in 1908, a date that exists in both styles. Representing the first year of the design for type collectors, this Choice Mint State piece has pleasing surfaces and frosty orange-gold luster.(Registry values: N2998)
