Description

1829/7 Half Dollar, MS64
Toned and Appealing, O-101

1829/7 50C O-101, R.1, MS64 PCGS. CAC. The overdate feature is clear on this example. Two die pairings account for the overdate, which are collectively scarce in Choice condition and rare any finer. This CAC-endorsed coin displays satiny luster beneath pleasing amber, gold, russet, and green-gray toning. A few stars lack complete detail, and the point of the bust is not fully defined. Population (all 1829/7 varieties included): 23 in 64 (2 in 64+), 4 finer. CAC: 4 in 64, 6 finer (10/16).
