1830 50C Small 0, O-101, R.1, MS65 PCGS. The primary pick-up point for this O-101 Small 0 variety is the A in STATES, which is recut on the outside left with a vertical die defect within the A. Vertical line 3 of stripe 3 extends below the shield. Golden-gray toning includes lilac overtones. Glittering mint luster shines from beneath the attractive patina. Sharply struck. Population (all Small 0 varieties): 23 in 65 (1 in 65+), 5 finer (11/16).
