Description
1908-D 50C MS65 NGC. Frosty luster rolls around original surfaces on this Gem 1908-D half dollar beneath attractive aqua-green, gold, and umber toning. A few tiny ticks are not out of line for the grade, and the strike is above average for the issue -- only the fletchings and the eagle's right (facing) wing junction exhibit any discernible weakness on the reverse, and the obverse lacks definition only on star 3.
