1856 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The Mint struck 384,240 quarter eagles in 1856, yet Choice Uncirculated coins are conditionally rare. This lemon-gold MS64+ example is the only piece so-graded at PCGS. Each side presents glittering luster that illuminates nearly fully struck relief elements. Population: 18 in 64 (1 in 64+), 10 finer. CAC: 5 in 64, 3 finer (1/17).(Registry values: P2)
