Description

1925 Double Eagle, MS66+
Very Rare Any Finer

1925 $20 MS66+ PCGS. Repatriated coins from Europe and Latin America explain the relative availability of the 1925 through MS66. However, less than 2% of all Premium Gem submissions at PCGS have received a Plus designation, and only seven grading events are reported finer (1/17). This strongly detailed Saint-Gaudens double eagle emits frosty luster from pleasing, butter-gold surfaces. Glints of rose appear centrally.(Registry values: N2998)
