1875 Half Dollar, Iridescent PR66
Exemplary Preservation and Eye Appeal
1875 50C PR66 PCGS. In 1875, the Mint removed the arrows
beside the date that had been implemented for two years in 1873 and
1874. A total of 700 proof half dollars were struck. This
outstanding specimen displays gorgeous multicolor iridescence
throughout the obverse in shades of blue, green, rose, and
peach-orange. Similar hues encompass the reverse borders, ceding to
brilliant centers. Preservation and eye appeal place this Premium
Gem proof among a small group of top-notch pieces. Population: 11
