Description

1922 Twenty Dollar, MS65+
Exceptional Eye Appeal

1922 $20 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Cherny Collection. Variegated toning alternates between lilac, lemon-gold, and rich orange-gold shades, producing the tremendous eye appeal seen throughout this Gem Saint. The surfaces show few marks of any kind, while the strike is uniformly sharp. Only slight flattening of the torch bands is noted. CAC endorsed for quality and eye appeal. The 1922 is scarce this nice and rare any finer despite a mintage of more than 1.3 million pieces. PCGS reports just eight finer coins (2/17).(Registry values: N2998)
