Description

1884 Nickel, Delicately Toned MS67
The Single Finest at PCGS

1884 5C MS67 PCGS. The 1 in the date is minutely recut, although this is not the FS-301 Cherrypickers' variety. This coin is, however, the sole finest 1884 Liberty nickel certified at PCGS (3/17). It shows champagne-tinged, softly frosted mint luster on each side with no distracting abrasions. The obverse is boldly rendered, but the reverse exhibits the usual softness on the corn ear to the left of the wreath bow. A must-have Registry item.(Registry values: N2998)
