Rarely Seen Finer
1927-D $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1927-D is an important condition
rarity in finer grades, plentiful enough that nearly any collector
can own a Gem, but nearly impossible to locate in MS66 of finer,
with only 16 such coins certified by PCGS and NGC combined (3/17).
This example has frosty silver luster and sharp design features
beneath an attractive blend of olive, gold, and iridescent
