Description

1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent, MS66 Red
Rich, Lustrous Surfaces

1909-S 1C VDB MS66 Red PCGS Secure. Frosty, luminous surfaces yield mint-gold and bronze hues throughout medium copper-gold luster. The strike is bold, and the corresponding eye appeal is superb. There are no abrasions or obvious spots. The 1909-S VDB Lincoln cent is among the most sought-after issues of the 20th century but remains marginally available in Premium Gem Red condition for the budget-conscious collector. Finer pieces are rare and exceedingly more costly to acquire, with just 16 such coins listed by PCGS and NGC combined (5/17).(Registry values: N2998)
