Description

1850 $20 VF30 PCGS. Detail is slightly better than on the typical VF example, heightening the appeal of this first-year Philadelphia type coin. The surfaces are bright and colored yellow-gold. Double eagles of this period were largely struck with California gold, which is distinctive for its yellowish hue on early-date Liberty Head twenties.(Registry values: N991)
