1858-C Quarter Eagle, MS60
Uncirculated Charlotte Type Coin
1858-C $2 1/2 MS60 PCGS. Variety 1. The 1858-C is a fairly
plentiful issue from this mint, suitable for the enthusiast seeking
a single Charlotte type coin. The eagle's left (facing) leg is
slightly soft on this piece, but the strike is otherwise pleasing.
Portions of the original mint luster remain in the fields near the
borders. A few parallel roller marks, as made, appear on the
portrait. Population: 3 in 60, 25 finer (5/17).(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25JH, PCGS# 7787, Greysheet# 8385)
