None Numerically Finer at PCGS
1914-S $20 MS66 PCGS. From a substantial mintage of nearly
1.5 million pieces, the 1914-S Saint-Gaudens double eagle can only
be called scarce in MS66 condition, but finer coins are virtually
unobtainable. This impressive Premium Gem exhibits well-detailed
design elements and impeccably preserved orange-gold surfaces, with
vibrant mint luster on both sides. PCGS has graded no numerically
finer examples (5/17).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FU, PCGS# 9166, Greysheet# 10172)
