1918/7-D 5C FS-101 VG10 NGC. CAC. This is easily one of the most recognizable overdates in 20th century American numismatics, the result of a hubbing error. Although the first three date digits are somewhat blended, the 8 over 7 is clear. So too is the D mintmark. Original steel-gray patina yields to occasional olive-green accents.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RJ, Variety PCGS# 38446, Base PCGS# 3939, GSID# 390393)
