1881 Three Cent Nickel, PR68 Cameo
Among the Finest Certified
1881 3CN PR68 Cameo PCGS. The 1881 has a much higher
circulation-strike mintage than its late-date peers, but proof
production was typical for the period (3,575 pieces). This amazing
PR68 Cameo representative is anything but typical, of course,
ranking among the finest survivors. It enjoys dazzling,
all-brilliant surfaces with profoundly mirrored fields and fully
frosted motifs. As impressive in-hand as the grade suggests.
