Description

1845 1C N-6 MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. Grellman Die State b. Clash marks include a small one behind the curls and another near the E in ONE. This is a well-struck example with bluish-brown overtones across bright and lustrous Mint orange surfaces. Scattered carbons exist -- the most obvious one to the right of 5 in the date -- but otherwise, the coin shows only two or three tiny marks of minor significance. Relatively few N-6 examples are finer. Our EAC grade MS62.
