Description

1875-S 10C Mintmark Below Bow MS66 PCGS. Fortin-Unlisted. The reverse is the rusted and worn die from F-116 (Reverse P), but the obverse shows the date a trifle further right than F-116's Obverse 11 has. This Premium Gem 1875-S dime displays a bold strike where die wear does not affect the sharpness, and both sides have attractive olive and light golden toning. This piece is among the finest examples of the date at PCGS, regardless of variety. Population: 4 in 66, 0 finer (11/17).(Registry values: N1793)
