Description
1860 OC-4 Seated Dollar, MS63
1860 $1 MS63 NGC. OC-4. A small triangular die chip joins
the middle arrowshaft to the arrowhead immediately below, and that
is diagnostic for the reverse die that was used with two similar
obverse dies. A single bar from the reverse shield is clashed in
the drapery left of the base of the pole. The reverse has faint
clash marks in the shield recesses with delicate die cracks at the
tops of some legend letters. This lovely Select Mint State dollar
has frosty silver luster that shines through gold and gray toning.
