1906 5C MS66+ PCGS Secure. CAC. A Superb Gem 1906 nickel is
yet to be certified, making this Plus-graded Premium Gem tied for
the finest known. Softly frosted mint luster yields warm champagne
toning, and the strike is generally good. Under a loupe, a small
area of unstruck planchet surface is visible above Liberty's ear
and on the Roman numeral V, although there is not any mentionable
detail lacking. Population: 47 in 66 (8 in 66+), 0 finer. CAC: 12
