Description

1938 Walker Half Dollar, MS67+
Excellent Visual Appeal and Preservation

1938 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Duckor. Speckled multicolor hues create a rainbow effect at the upper right of the obverse, intensifying near the rim where caramel-gold and magenta dominate. The reverse is richly toned in an overlay of russet and crimson shades. In addition to the exceptional eye appeal, the technical surface quality is also excellent with only minor blending on the branch hand and the eagle's leg feathers. A single coin is graded finer at PCGS, and only four other Superb Gems have been awarded a Plus designation. CAC: 28% of submissions for this issue/grade passed. 31 in 67, 0 finer (11/17).
