Description

1921-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS65+
Lowest Mintage of the Series

1921-D 50C MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The 1921-D Walking Liberty half dollar claims a mintage of 208,000 pieces, the lowest business-strike production total of the series. As might be expected, the 1921-D is an elusive key issue today, and high-grade specimens are always in demand. The coin offered here is a delightful Plus-graded Gem, with boldly defined design elements in most areas. Although Liberty's wreath hand is not fully delineated, there is distinct separation between her thumb and fingers, and much interior detail shows on her head and the eagle's trailing leg. The well-preserved brilliant surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster on both sides, creating outstanding eye appeal. Population: 34 in 65 (3 in 65+), 3 finer. CAC: 12 in 65, 2 finer (11/17).(Registry values: N4719)
