1883-CC Dollar, MS67 Prooflike
Reflective and Pristine

1883-CC $1 MS67 Prooflike PCGS. One of only nine Prooflike 1883-CC dollars for the grade at PCGS, with none finer; two Deep Mirror Prooflike coins are also reported in this grade (11/17). This reflective Superb Gem yields brilliant, satiny surfaces with a few fine die polish lines visible in the reverse fields around the eagle. An inventory of CC dollars held by the General Services Administration in the 1970s indicated that more than 750,000 examples of this issue were slated for distribution to collectors. Most did not compare to the technical quality of this piece. Housed in a green label holder.
