Description

1926-D $1 MS66 PCGS. The 1926-D Peace dollar is known for being among the best-produced of that series, and this example illustrates that distinction nicely. The strike is far above average when considering the series as a whole, with Liberty's hair distinct and detailed. Only a couple of trivial marks are present, and the luster is largely undisturbed. PCGS has graded only 8 numerically finer examples.
