1855 $3 MS61 PCGS. The 1855 is somewhat scarcer in Mint State than the Philadelphia issue of the prior year, although MS61 coins such as this are yet obtainable by most collectors. Bright yellow-gold surfaces offer satiny luster with minimal abrasions. A small planchet depression (mint made) appears in the field below Liberty's chin.From The Digiovanni de Abruzzi Collection.
