1787 COPPER Nova Eborac Copper, Seated Left AU58 PCGS. Breen-986, W-5755, R.3. A pleasing chocolate-brown example. Marks are absent, and flan flaws are inconsequential. Struck off center toward 8 o'clock, with the left-side legends partly off the flan. Listed on page 70 of the 2018 Guide Book.Ex: Bowers and Merena, 5/1994; Jim Jones Collection (Stack's Bowers, 3/2012), lot 1060, which realized $2,185.
