Description

1934-D Dime, MS67+ Full Bands
Finest at PCGS

1934-D 10C MS67+ Full Bands PCGS. CAC. Almost four times as many dimes were manufactured at the Philadelphia Mint in 1934, in the depths of the Great Depression, as were struck at the Denver facility that same year. That ratio, 4:1, roughly holds for certified Full Bands examples in the upper echelons of Mint State. Where as the 1934 is merely scarce in MS67, the 1934-D is conditionally rare. This brilliant, nearly unabraded example presents full strike characteristics and a single wisp of thin golden color from Liberty's cheek to IN. Population: 55 in 67 (7 in 67+) Full Bands, 0 finer. CAC: 17 in 67, 0 finer (1/18).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23JB, PCGS# 4991, Greysheet# 4578)
