Description

1945 25C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. It is amazing to consider how few 1945 Washington quarters survive in MS67 given a massive production of 74.3 million coins. All Superb Gems are scarce, but high-end examples with Plus designations and CAC stickers are major rarities. Dusky patina reveals translucent elements of tan-gold and crimson on the obverse of this piece. The reverse shows a few splashes of color but is otherwise brilliant. Thickly frosted and tremendously appealing. Population: 48 in 67 (7 in 67+), 2 finer. CAC: 22 in 67, 0 finer (1/18).
