1936-D 50C Columbia MS68 PCGS. CAC. From a distribution of
only 8,009 pieces, the Columbia half dollar commemorates the 150th
anniversary of the designation of Columbia as the capital of the
state of South Carolina. This incredible MS68 specimen is among the
finest survivors of the meager production, with sharply detailed
design elements and virtually pristine, satiny surfaces that show
highlights of sea-green, pale gold, and lavender toning.
