Description

1850 1C N-7, R.2, MS65 Red and Brown PCGS Secure. Attractive fire-orange luster shines through areas of brownish-blue toning throughout both sides of this Gem N-7 cent. A number of die lumps confirm the variety -- one on Liberty's neck just below the midpoint of the jawline, and several small lumps on the reverse lettering. The strike is sharp for the die marriage, since all of the diagnostic lumps are present and not faded from die wear. The surfaces are virtually mark-free and without carbon. Our EAC grade MS63.
