1950 25C Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS67+ PCGS. A Registry
Set essential, this high-end Superb Gem 1950 quarter is
CAC-approved as one of the finest certified by either service. The
strike is bold, and the preservation is nearly flawless. Both sides
display satiny champagne luster with iridescent hues near the
extreme outer peripheries. FS-801 shows bold die doubling on the
reverse at the eagle's beak and is rare this fine. Population (all
varieties included): 71 in 67 (8 in 67+), 0 finer; (FS-801) 7 in 67
