Tied for Finest Certified 1905 Barber Dime1905 10C MS67 PCGS. This is one of just two MS67 Barber Dimes of this date to be certified by PCGS. It has splendid aesthetic appeal with frosty luster and exceptional surfaces beneath pale brown, sea-green, russet, and iridescent toning. The reverse is more deeply toned than the obverse. Both sides are sharply detailed, save for slight softness on Liberty's hair details above the forehead. Only 23 issues in the Barber Dime series have mintages in excess of 10 million coins, including this date with a production well in excess of 14 million pieces. This issue ranks 50th in the series for overall Mint State population according to PCGS data. Although the three issues of this year have widely divergent mintages, the ranking of Mint State examples is surprisingly similar. The 1905-O ranks 40th and the 1905-S ranks 46th among all Mint State Barber Dimes. Population: 2 in 67, 0 finer (11/05).
