Description:
Well-Defined 1901-S Quarter, VG Details
1901-S 25C -- Scratches -- NGC Details. VG. Both sides of this key date representative display light to medium gray patina, and each shows considerable (though worn) dentilation. Liberty's portrait exhibits the letters LI and TY fairly clearly. On the reverse, most letters in PLURIBUS show, as does about one-half of the eagle's plumage. A few old, shallow scratches are visible at the right obverse, and there is a scrape from the bottom of the first L in DOLLAR through the adjacent rim.
