Description

Finest Graded (MS 67) 1913 Barber Quarter

1913 MS 67 PCGS. A show-stopping '13-P quarter, one of the more difficult Barber quarter issues in the series at the mint state level, being only slightly less rare than its better known S-mint counterpart in better (MS 63 and higher) uncirculated grades. This superb gem's best quality is its originality. The pristine surfaces are draped in mottled russet, orange, and sea-green hues, only complementing the underlying frostiness and amazing lack of contact marks. We have never seen a finer 1913 quarter and certainly this piece is among the nicest extant. Population: 1 in 67, none higher (4/97). (NGC ID# 23ZU, PCGS# 5664)

I popped open one of the beers, put my boots up on the desk, turned up the volume on my monitor and followed my watch list and while I was outbid on my proof Walkers I got a winning bid on a 67+ CAC BTW. Shoot, anniversaries don't come much better than t
