1865 3C J-414
1867 Quarter Eagle Die Trial in Copper, Ex: Farouk1867 Quarter Eagle, Judd-595, Pollock-659, R.8, PR 64 Red and Brown PCGS. Regular die trials striking for the 1867 quarter eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. A splendidly preserved specimen, the surfaces retain most of the original red color with only slight browning in the fields. Only two pieces are believed known. This is definitely not the #1 coin listed in Pollock's reference, leaving only the ex: Farouk piece as the other possibility. (PCGS# 60595)
