1871 S$1 J-1145
Judd-1407 Pattern Twenty Cent Piece1875 Twenty Cents, Judd-1407, Pollock-1550, R.6, PR 63 PCGS. The obverse is similar to the adopted die but LIBERTY is incused rather than raised as on the regular issue coins. The reverse, however, is quite different with this being the famous 1/5 OF A DOLLAR design. Struck in silver with a plain edge. Deeply toned in shades of argent-gray and steel-blue with a subtle undertone of crimson. Nicely mirrored and quite flashy for the grade. (PCGS# 61407)
