1920 Nickel Struck On A Cent Planchet With A Reverse Lamination1920 5C --Struck On A Cent Planchet, With Reverse Lamination--AU55 NGC. 3.1 grams. Off metal errors are one of the most unusual and oftentimes dramatic of all errors. This is certainly one. The design elements are almost perfectly centered on the cent planchet and the surfaces are essentially brown with a small amount of underlying reddish luster still faintly visible. Additionally, there is a rim-to-rim planchet lamination across the reverse. A double error and a worthwhile addition to an advanced error set.
