Description:
Lustrous, Richly Toned Gem 1832 Dime
1832 10C MS65 NGC. JR-4, R.3. Golden-brown, sea-green, and electric-blue colors bathe this satiny and gorgeously preserved Gem. Crisply struck, since only the eagle's neck and the curls below the ear lack exquisite definition. A scarcer variety, as JR-2 is the most frequently encountered die marriage of the date in finer grades. This outstanding example would be a highlight of any advanced holding of Capped Bust Dimes. Population: 10 in 65, 5 finer (11/04).(#4521) (Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 237C, PCGS# 4521)
