1832 V-1, LM-3 Half Dime, MS651832 H10C MS65 NGC. V-1, LM-3, R.1. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. This readily available die marriage is frequently encountered in Mint State grades, although Gem specimens are rare. The obverse has two die cracks from the cap to the upper obverse rim, and the reverse is shattered. This die state is a late stage of LM-3, and the obverse is earlier than on LM-4. Both sides of this Gem have satiny luster under wispy gold and blue toning.
