Description:
1835 Classic Five, MS61
First Head, McCloskey 1-B
1835 $5 MS61 NGC. First Head, Breen-6504, McCloskey 1-B, R.3. The obverse shows minor clash marks behind the letters of LIBERTY, and around the ear, all from the shield. The reverse has delicate die cracks around the arrows, including two parallel cracks that join the lower arrowheads. Although both sides show myriad marks, they are mostly inconsequential. The surfaces are bright yellow with full frosty mint luster. A splendid specimen.(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 25RV, PCGS# 8173)

I received the catalog and was very impressed with its color illustrations, descriptions and attractive layout. (It has better production values than the New York houses.)
