1834 $2 1/2 AU55 PCGS. Breen-6140, Variety 4, R.3. The "Broken M" variety with a defective M in AMERICA. The Large Head obverse shows strong repunching on stars 2, 3, and 11. This nicely struck canary-gold representative displays bright luster near design elements. No marks are individually consequential.(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 25FS, PCGS# 7692)
