Description:
1652 Oak Tree Shilling, Fine 15
Late Die State Noe-7
1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling Fine 15 PCGS. Noe-7, W-480, Salmon 5-D, R.5. 66.05 gn. IN at Bottom. A golden-gray and lavender representative. The reverse has pleasing definition throughout. The obverse shows wear on the upper half of the tree due to the natural wave of the rocker press emission. Oval-shaped from mint clips affecting the right obverse and left reverse legends. The die state is late with large right-side breaks, though not as late as Hain:28. The centering allows better study of the breaks near 3 o'clock than is usual for the variety. Listed on page 39 of the 2013 Guide Book. (PCGS# 20)

Learn About Consigning With Us
What I most appreciated was how thorough you were when we initially met, how you were conservative in your estimates, not trying to get me to consign by giving false expectations, and then for delivering above and beyond on your commitment to me of a wonderful marketing campaign and a first rate catalog and photos, all of which resulted in a final total price realized that was nicely higher than what you had told me to expect.
