Description:
1722 1/2P Hibernia Halfpenny, Type One, Harp Left XF45 NGC. Martin 4.4-Be.1, W-12790, R.5. Occasional reddish accents intermingle with medium brown patina on both sides. The obverse exhibits several clash marks, most noticeably above the head of George from the reverse denticles. The effigy on the reverse shows the usual softness. Peppered abrasions are entirely inconsequential. Listed on page 42 of the 2011 Guide Book. MRB XF45.
