Description

Late State 1760 Vooe Populi Halfpenny

1760 1/2P Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny, VOOE POPULI XF40 PCGS. Z. 7-E, N.3. Glossy light brown and aquamarine hues surfaces have a few small marks near the VOOE legend and from the reverse rim at 7:30. The rims are raised, probably after the piece left the mint. A network of small die breaks accompanies the seated effigy and harp; the nose and lips of the bust are detached due to die polishing. Listed on page 47 of the 2006 Guide Book.

Learn about consigning with us

What I most appreciated was how thorough you were when we initially met, how you were conservative in your estimates, not trying to get me to consign by giving false expectations, and then for delivering above and beyond on your commitment to me of a wonderful marketing campaign and a first rate catalog and photos, all of which resulted in a final total price realized that was nicely higher than what you had told me to expect.
