Description:
Attractive 1776 Continental Dollar
1776 $1 Continental Dollar, CURENCY, Pewter XF40 PCGS. Breen-1089; Crosby Pl. VIII, 15; Newman 1-C. While technically a pattern, the Continental Dollar is a perpetually popular item because of its close association with the American Revolution. Strikings are known in pewter (or tin), brass, silver, and copper. This example displays medium to dark gunmetal-gray color and appears to be slightly buckled from 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock. Listed on page 33 of the 2002 Guide Book. (PCGS# 791)

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
