1787 1/2 C Massachusetts Half Cent XF45 PCGS. Ryder 4-C, W-5940, R.2. A well detailed ebony-brown example of this popular late Confederation-era state issue. Marks are absent aside from a minor nick beneath the 1 in the date. Trivial granularity corresponds to the grade. Listed on page 59 of the 2013 Guide Book. (PCGS# 296)
