Silver 1796 Castorland Medal MS63
Struck From the Original Dies
1796 MEDAL Castorland Medal, Silver MS63 PCGS. Breen-1058, W-9100, R.5. Reeded edge. Struck from the original dies. Die rust noted near the right handle of the sap container. No bulge or crack at PARENS. Blended walnut-brown and cream-gray with an exacting strike and pleasing preservation. Listed on page 73 of the 2009 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 63, 5 finer (3/09). (PCGS# 653)
