Description

1904 Lewis and Clark Commemorative Dollar, MS66
Difficult in the Better Grades of Mint State

1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS66 PCGS. Although 25,000 examples dated 1904 were struck, only 10,025 pieces were reported sold. The 1904 Lewis and Clark is more difficult to obtain in the better Mint State grades than most other gold commemorative coins struck from 1903 to 1926. Whispers of soft mint-green visit the yellow-gold lustrous surfaces of this Premium Gem. This is a well struck piece with no marks of consequence. PCGS has seen only 17 specimens finer.(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 26HC, PCGS# 7447)
